Engineering Projects
As an aspiring engineer I love working on various engineering projects. I am part of the USC Racing team where I am part of the composites sub team. In this team I manufacture the physical components of the car, for example, the front and rear wings and nosecone, using techniques such as hot wire cutting and expoxy resin layups, as well as materials like carbon fibre and fibre glass. I am currently the Responsible Engineer for the duct manufacture, which I will be working on in the coming weeks.
Aside from this I am also part of Society of Women Engineers, where I am an Ambassador and part of the Operations Team. I love planning STEM events and inspiring more young girls into this field.
Music
I grew up playing the piano and have always loved to sing, especially in musical productions at school. I also did choir in school for 10 years. I am currently learning how to play the guitar. This photo is from the concert of my favourie musician: Elton John.
